Rag Aphorisms, the first volume

In a context in which aphorisms have become popular as a form of expression, Rag Aphorisms, by Hernán Compá, offers a contemporary and entertaining work that pursues an appropriate balance between the deep and the light, so as not to disappoint the reader of aphorisms while also seducing the buyer of a gift-book. 

We attain that by illustrating the forty aphorisms with forty watercolors by artist Vivian Leila Campillo López. Each illustration features Afo, the rag doll, in different attitudes, representing the message but also trimming away any excessive solemnity with a few simple sketches.

Originally in Spanish the book was soon translated into English and French.

The Complete Rag Aphorisms, the new launch for 2019

A new volume of Rag Aphorism has just followed the excellent reception of the first one. For the occasion Afobook is launching The Complete Rag Aphorisms, a deluxe hardcover edition of the two united volumes: 80 illustrated aphorisms by the same creators.

This beautiful edition will be introduced in Frankfurt Book Fair 2019, stand L72, Hall 4.1 in Spanish, English, French and German, as part of the international launch campaign.
